The Death Doula Formation Collective is a communal network design by Jill Schock. The platform was built with great intention, leveraging Jill’s thirteen years of experience in death, dying and the community around it. The Death Doula Formation Collective is for doulas, by doulas. Our goal is to build a space for highly skilled, and properly nurtured doulas, deathworkers, caregivers and end-of-life professionals. The collective is a resource and safe home where one can feel educated, supported, and encouraged as they do their work with death, dying and grief.
This space is mostly virtual, with in person components. We encourage you to connect with those who live near you in person as much as possible. The Death Doula Formation Collective offers a private virtual community, curated lectures, connection to other experienced professionals, and topic circles of interest (like Grief and Plant Medicine.) We encourage deep thought and participation and want all of our content to be relevant and useful. With the endless networking opportunities within this collective, we hope to be the change we wish to see in the deathcare and grief industries.
